Place Kangaroo Point, a high-performing real estate agency, needed an acoustic solution that complemented their modern, white-finished office while supporting teamproductivity. Their open-plan workspace, though visually striking, lacked adequate sound control. As a fast-paced agency handling calls and client meetings daily, poor office acoustics were becoming a growing issue—leading to distractions, reduced concentration, and staff fatigue.
Brisbane Acoustics supplied and installed Autex Acoustics Desk Screens in the Nook design across existing workstations. The chosen colour, Beehive, a golden yellow tone,added warmth and visual energy to the predominantly white office palette. Not only did this lift the aesthetic, but it also created a more welcoming and dynamic workspace. Installation was seamless and minimally disruptive, thanks to simple-to-fit white 100% recycled desk clamps that integrated perfectlywith existing desks. Despite the ease of install, the upgrade delivered a major improvement in sound absorption—reducing cross-desk noise and enhancing speech privacy, which is crucial for real estate professionals managing sensitive client information and high-pressure negotiations.
