The client required a solution that met both the high design standards and acoustic performance expectations of a modern corporate fitout. Open-plan work areas and enclosed meeting rooms presented challenges for managing reverberation and speech clarity—particularly in the boardrooms, where clear communication is essential. Additionally, all acoustic treatments needed to seamlessly integrate into the design aesthetic of the space.
The Solution
Brisbane Acoustics worked closely with Tactic Spaces to deliver a comprehensive acoustic wall and ceiling treatment. Autex 12mm Groove panels were installed with precision, transitioning into Autex 10mm Composition to create a seamless, high-end finish across the wall surfaces. This pairing not only delivered exceptional sound absorption but also elevated the visual cohesion of the interiors.
To address acoustic challenges in the boardrooms, Autex Lattice Ceiling systems were installed in dual colours, creating a visually striking design feature while enhancing the acoustic environment. These ceiling treatments on Level 10 reduced echo and improved speech intelligibility, contributing to a more functional and aesthetically pleasing space for meetings and collaboration.
